The Board of Commissioners will hold a special meeting Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. in the Crown Ballroom. Newly elected and re-elected commissioners will be sworn into office.
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Cumberland County Board of Commissioners will hold a special meeting Dec. 5, 2022, at 7 p.m. in the Crown Ballroom. This meeting will take the place of the Board’s regular Dec. 5 meeting.
During the meeting, newly elected and re-elected commissioners will be sworn into office. Oaths of office will be administered to Commissioners Chairman Glenn Adams and Commissioner Jeannette Council, as well as commissioners-elect W. Marshall Faircloth and Veronica B. Jones. Once seated, the new Board will elect a chair and vice chair for 2023.
Anyone who wishes to attend the meeting should park in the West VIP parking lot of the Crown Complex, located at 1960 Coliseum Drive, Fayetteville. Signs will be placed in the parking lot to direct people to the appropriate lot.
The meeting will also be streamed live on the CumberlandCountyNC YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/CumberlandCountyNC, as well as on Cumberland County North Carolina TV (CCNCTV), which can be viewed on the County’s website at cumberlandcountync.gov. The meeting will also be broadcast live on Spectrum Cable channel 5, and on the CCNCTV app on Roku, Apple TV and FireTV.
