FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Residents in the Shaw Heights community are invited to take an online survey to gather neighborhood water and sewer feedback. Cumberland County Community Development created the survey and needs input from residents to guide future improvements.
The survey is structured to capture input from both property owners and renters. Property-owner input is essential for issues related to annexation, easements and connection decisions. Renter input is essential to understand day-to-day impacts and to identify other housing-related needs that may be appropriate for Community Development assistance. The survey also captures information that could affect willingness to connect. The purpose of Community Development is to prioritize the need for habitable, affordable housing needs of low-to-moderate-income (LMI) residents in accordance with the national objectives of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
