FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Cumberland County Department of Social Services, in partnership with Life is Worth Living, will host the Project Fresh Start 2026 Annual Information Session on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 9 to 11 a.m. The event is for individuals with past criminal offenses and will take place at the Department of Social Services, located at 1225 Ramsey St. in Fayetteville.
Project Fresh Start is committed to helping community members with past criminal offenses reclaim purpose and rebuild their lives by offering access to opportunities and resources for renewal and restoration. The annual information session will connect attendees with organizations and professionals who provide support in areas such as employment, expungement overview, job training, legal aid, food assistance, healthcare, reentry, housing and transportation.
