Primary Election Voter Registration Deadline Feb. 6, Early Voting Schedule Feb. 12 -28

The voter registration deadline for the March 3 Statewide Primary Election is Friday, Feb. 6 at 5 p.m. Early voting for the primary begins Feb. 12 and runs through Feb. 28.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The voter registration deadline for the March 3, 2026, Statewide Primary Election is Friday, Feb. 6 at 5 p.m. In Cumberland County, early voting for the March 3 Primary Election begins Feb. 12 and continues through Feb. 28.

The Primary Election will take place on Tuesday, March 3. Anyone who misses the Feb. 6 voter registration deadline may still be able to register to vote or make changes with the exception of party affiliation, during the early voting period.

Locations, dates and times for early voting are listed below.

Early Voting Locations

  • Cliffdale Recreation Center: 6404 Cliffdale Rd., Fayetteville
  • College Lakes Recreation Center: 4945 Rosehill Rd., Fayetteville
  • East Regional Library: 4809 Clinton Rd., Fayetteville
  • J.D. Pone Recreation Center: 2964 School Rd., Hope Mills
  • Kiwanis Recreation Center, 352 Devers St., Fayetteville
  • Smith Recreation Center: 1520 Slater Ave., Fayetteville
  • Stoney Point Recreation Center: 7411 Rockfish Rd., Fayetteville

Early Voting Schedule (All Locations)

  • Feb. 12–13: 8 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
  • Feb. 14: 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Feb. 15: 2 – 5 p.m.
  • Feb. 16–20: 8 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
  • Feb. 21–22: Closed
  • Feb. 23–27: 8 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
  • Feb. 28: 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Voter Registration

To be eligible to vote in the March 3 Primary, new voter registrations or updates must be received or postmarked 25 days before Election Day. Registered voters may update or confirm their information at early voting sites during the early voting period, but party affiliation changes must be completed before the early voting period.

Voters can check their registration status, party affiliation, polling place and sample ballots using the North Carolina Voter Search tool on the NC State Board of Elections website at vt.ncsbe.gov/reglkup/.
