FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Due to significant damages caused by Tropical Storm Isaias, Cumberland County’s Emergency Services encourages residents impacted by the storm to self-report storm-related property damages online through CrisisTrack.
Through CrisisTrack, residents may upload photos in addition to a written description of damage. The information provided will assist Emergency Services personnel with documenting the extent of damages, assess and validate the overall impact across the County and identify community recovery needs.
As Emergency Services continues to work diligently with the County’s public safety partners, residents are reminded to continue to use caution in the affected areas and follow guidance from public safety officials.
Yard waste, such as grass, leaves, pine straw and brush/limb clippings may be taken to container sites by residents. Commercial loads and loads with tree limbs larger than three inches in diameter or three feet in length must be taken to the Wilkes Road Compost Facility, located at 771 Wilkes Road in Fayetteville. For container information and to find the nearest container/recycling sites, visit cumberlandcountync.gov/solidwaste.
For future storm alerts, residents may sign up for Cumberland Alerts at cumberlandcountync.gov/alerts.
