Members of the public can follow the social media pages to receive valuable information about everything from volunteer and foster information to tips for responsible pet ownership.
"We encourage everyone to follow our Facebook page,” said Elaine Smith, Animal Control Director. “It is a great avenue to keep up with the animals available for adoption and other pet-related news.”
Cumberland County Government, Cumberland County Public Library, Cumberland County Cooperative Extension, Cumberland County Emergency Services and NCWorks also have Facebook pages with photos and valuable public information. The web addresses to the pages are listed below:
